Jose is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP), dominating areas such as critical financial analysis, bonding, internal controls, equipment fleet management, manufacturing facilities, project controls, and risk management. As a former hands-on CFO and leader of multiple Joint Venture teams that completed projects like the Airport Link Metrorail (Orange Line), 826/836 interchange, and Palmetto Express lanes, he has gained experience in Joint Venture management, project team building, and implementing Construction Accounting software. Jose holds an MBA from Florida International University, he is the Secretary of the CCIFP Board of Trustees, the Vice-President of the CFMA South Florida Chapter Board of Directors, and was named the Chapter’s Champion of the CFMA Miami-Dade and South Florida Chapters since 2023.
